Donny was born in Los Angeles.
His career began early in art, working at a screen printer. From there he worked as an art director and creative director at top action sportscompanies.
His fine art has been shown internationally. His art has been used by many companies the world over for a number of products which makes him feel really important.
Donny's first book, Beautiful People with Beautiful Feelings was released in 2006 by Abrams Image, a subsidiary of Harry N. Abrams to excellent reviews and has garnered a cult following.
Donny considers himself an absurdist/conceptual artist. His art focuses on bringing an intellectual element to an otherwise mostly vapid, primitive and repetitive era in art.
He is working on a new book, currently untitled.
Donny studies Muay Thai kickboxing and appreciates a good beating.
