Laid off!

Once again my work at mammoth Unbound has come to an end for the season. I always have mixed feelings when this happens beause there are so many rad things to build that I miss out on, but its worth it because this is the time that I get to shift gears from builder to rider.

I've been in the gym everyday trying to beef up a tweaked knee, but my spring has been satisfying so far. The sun has been out but the temps have been low, keeping the booters fat and landings smooth.  Pip and I had a fun shoot for June mtn on thier closing day. You can see above the pipe is still straight as. The boys over there did a phemomenal job, again.

I  was born in Okinawa, heres a tribute..

After they closed, we were asked to come ride a special booter they built for the Roxy girls. They winched a nomally powder run to make a naturalesque spring landing. Put a cheese wedge on top, with a snow mo tow-in and you got one hell of a good time. The girls killed it. My faves were Erin Combsock's SB 180s. Check the Roxy site for action.

Superpark starts tomorrow, the weathers supposed to break, and the setup looks sick. Its in the Chair 4 area this year for those of you who know Mammoth. There is so many cool features tucked away all over the place. It'll be partytime.

June Storm

I know I work at Mammoth, but June is what brought me to Cali. I love it.  Heres me with the other head builders there. L-R: Me, Sam Poffley, Jeremy Cooper and the College rep, Amanda shakin' babbies and selling college passes. And Im not really that tall, just standing on my skate.

June mtn is sick this year with Jibs that you've never seen anywhere. Cool stuff that'll do your head in.  We've been doing some trick tips for Detuned on RSN, and had so much fun when we shot there. Those boys are killing it properly. If you come to mammoth, do yourself a favor and make the drive to June and have the funnest day of your season. Word.

We also got the biggest dump of the season last week.

The Face at June.

Pow.

This rock is actually at Mammoth. Nollie to soft used goods.peace

Whattup ya'll? Sorry its been so long! I've  been super busy with building park, riding, and a couple other projects but am gonna keep you guys in the loop with the upcoming spring events.

This years trade show was by far the best  of all the years for MNMNT in my eyes in terms of teamwork, communication, and vision. We got a lot done...I cant devulge any info now, but changes will slowly seep out over the next year that everyone at MNMNT are pround and excited to see come to light.

Anyway, Its sunny outside!

(on a personal note, I will be happy when SIA moves to denver as I (liver) can;t handle more than 2 days in vegas..phwew.)
