Q & A with Robby
Yeah Robby! You finally have a little break from shredding! How are you spending your time now?
Yea dude, it's been insane. Lots of traveling around competing, definitely nice to have some time to relax. I have just been hanging out with friends, golfing, skating, and of course getting some partying done. Probably taking a trip somewhere super warm with shawna. Should be amazing
You recently just got back from Superpark 14 at Mammoth. What did you think for your first time?
Superpark was so much fun. Everything is so massive but so perfect, hanging with good friends all day and all week, sunshine and sweet food (pulled pork - fuck ya!)
What was your favorite feature?
My favorite feature would be the 90ft. step down jump or the "wack a mole" bmx rhythm line. you could spend all day on that line.

You had a great year competing this year. Where did you go and what did you have most fun doing?
This year was pretty crazy, i decided to go contest route and hit up as many contests as i could. Cruised all over the states and canada hitting up all the ttr events, some dew tour, world cups etc.. The most fun i had would either be at the burton canadian open here at my home town or it would be the trip i took to colorado for the aspen open. I went with my two buddies jordan and tanner and we were crammed in jordans tiny truck for 22 hours to a contest that wasnt much fun but everything else was rad - good pow, good food, hot babes, wicked time.
Who do you shed with?
I shred a lot with jordan and tanner - friends from alberta. shred quite a bit with the westbeach guys. belzile, jody, lucas and beau. the mcmorris brothers and then its always nice to ride with my homies from back home when im back in town.
Who are/were your shred heros?
Growing up and still now my shred heros are for sure devun walsh and kale stephens. They kill it in the backcountry. sooo steezy its sick. During grenade games i got to hang with kale and were gonna get something going with airhole. Pretty stoked!
You got a little filming done this year too. Its got to be hard to do the comp series and film at the same time.
Yea i was super stoked to be filming with a couple companies. nuulife cinema from canada and then role model from the states. With all the competing i didnt get near the amount of footy i wanted but i have enough to make it happen so im super excited to see how it all comes together in the fall!
Whats your plan for the next year?
Ive got lots of plans for next year. My season is gonna be starting in a few weeks, riding the glacier in whistler and doing the billabong ante up. Then off to new zealand in august. Hitting up some more contests there. Then between then and november im hoping to get a bunch of filming done somewhere before the crazy contest circuits start up again. Lots of boarding in canada, the states and europe. And between all that just getting as much filming done as possible and have a fun time doing it all!
