Hot Dawgs and Handrails

Day 1

We had to start our journeys before the sun came up. Ethan from Minnesota and me from Colorado. The goal, hopefully meeting up in the shit show called LAX. Any body that has flown into LA knows how frustrating that can be. I arrived about 20 minutes earlier than expected and wandered around the different terminals until I accidentally ran into the right one and Ethan. The luck doesn't stop there.

We get our rental whip (a minivan we nickname The Silver Bullet) and instantly get spit out on the exact road we need to get to Big Bear Lake. Driving around aimlessly around LA was definitely my biggest fear! We checked into the luxurious Motel 6 and decided on a Chinese buffet (of course).

With our tummies full, Ethan wanted a sneak peak at the set up that Bear Mountain put together. It was incredible! Two courses, both equally amazing, with perfect looking features. I was very impressed with the amount of work they put into everything. Then back to the hotel to chill and prepare for tomorrow!
